HANDLES

Our handles are made by Gerry Wood, a local craftsman. He has many years experience wood turning. For our handles he uses a variety of hardwoods. Every handle is different and individual. The type of wood depends on what he has to hand, and can vary with each order. If you have a particular wood you wish to match with a knife, please e-mail us.
As you can see from the photo the handles are rounded rather than flat faced, and you tend not to use the same part of the steel each time so the wear to your steel will be more even. All the handles are sealed.
